Chris Gentle

Director

Chris has over ten years experience working at a strategic level within the spatial industry for both private and government sectors specialising in strategic geospatial information management challenges. Chris heads the consulting team within NGIS Australia and has overall responsibility for ensuring client expectations are delivered.

Prior to joining NGIS, Chris most recently worked for the Western Australian Department of Land Information in assisting them develop their business model and account framework, assisting in their transition from a Department of State towards a Statutory Authority. This role also involved leading the development of a whole of government Shared Land Information Platform, which features as part of the e-Government strategy for Western Australia.

Chris has worked for several leading consulting groups including as an Associate for Sinclair Knight Merz and World Geoscience Corporation.

Chris has undergraduate qualifications in Geography from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Technology Management and a Masters in Business Administration from Deakin University.
