Chris is the Managing Director of NGIS China and is an expert in the development of IT solutions and 3D GIS modeling technology for environmental and urban planning applications. He has project directed, project managed and worked on a number of strategic government projects in Hong Kong including the Service for the Construction of a Demonstration 3D EIA and the Investigation Study for Review of the Acoustical Environment due for Infrastructure Projects in Hong Kong.
Chris has 13 years experience in the application of GIS within both private and government sectors in Hong Kong, the Peoples Republic of China, Japan and particularly Australia where he provided GIS consulting services to many local and state government councils and departments. He has sound experience in all aspects of project management, application development and data modelling.
Chris is an active member of the GIS community, has written many journal articles and is regularly invited to present to the wider community on various GIS related subjects. Chris has completed his Bachelor of Science (Geology and Geography) in 1991 and is currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma (GIS).
