NGIS was awarded the contract to upgrade a 3D Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) project, which aims to investigate presentation methods based on 3D animation techniques to better communicate EIA issues and facilitate targetted stakeholder engagement.
The purpose of the upgrade is to introduce functionality, allowing for improved rendering and animation of representative project scenes.
A CD-ROM containing finalised animations of the various infrastructure project forms and associated mitigation was produced using the ArcGIS product suite.
