NGIS developed a comprehensive GIS-based monitoring and evaluation system for the Social Forestry and Nature Conservation Project for the European Commission in Vietnam.
This involved introducing the use of remotely-sensed data (eg. satellite imagery) to develop baseline data for an environmental review against historical data. The data is managed and accessed using a GIS.

- Image processing (using ER Mapper) for land cover mapping
- GIS processing using ArcInfo and ArcView
- Development of functional specifications
