Chris has more than 10 years' experience working at a strategic level within the spatial industry for both private and government sectors, specialising in strategic geospatial information management challenges. Chris heads the consulting team within NGIS Australia and has overall responsibility for ensuring client expectations are delivered.
Prior to joining NGIS, Chris most recently worked for Western Australia's Department of Land Information (now Landgate) helping to develop a business model and account framework and assisting with a transition from a department of state towards a statutory authority. This role also involved leading the development of a whole-of-government Shared Land Information Platform, featured as part of the e-Government strategy for Western Australia.
Chris has worked as an associate for several leading consulting groups, including Sinclair Knight Merz and World Geoscience Corporation.
He has undergraduate qualifications in geography from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Technology Management and a Masters in Business Administration from Deakin University.
