The Opportunity
We are looking for a GIS Enterprise Architect, to join our existing team of GIS Professionals. As a GIS Architect you will be part of a senior delivery team that drives the approach we take, the technology we implement and the projects we deliver across a range of industries including mining, sustainability, agriculture, transport and utilities. Along with having the opportunity to scope and design projects you will be working with an amazing team of GIS professionals.
About You
This is a senior role that will offer significant opportunities. Our clients require that we are thought leaders, innovative, professional and creative with the advice we offer and the solutions we deliver. Ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years experience in GIS or a related field.
- Strong experience in ESRI platform, including ArcGIS Enterprise suite (desktop, portal, server and online).
- Practical Esri ArcGIS Enterprise design, development, configuration and implementation experience.
- Database and data management experience including MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL/ PostGIS, Oracle, ArcSDE/ ArcGIS Geodatabase.
- Advanced understanding of spatial database methods and principals, coordinate systems, spatial data models and ETL toolset.
- Experience in other proprietary and open-source GIS, including Geocortex, QGIS, and FME.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including Solution Architecture documentation and presentation to relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
The following skills will be highly regarded
- Architecture, deployment and integration of ArcGIS Enterprise in Cloud including Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Kubernetes clusters / container orchestration.
- Experience in Esri speciality modules including Utility Network, Network Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Parcel Fabric, Dynamic Segmentation etc.
- Associate or higher level Esri certification such as ArcGIS Enterprise Administration, ArcGIS System Design, ArcGIS Geodatabase. Management etc.
- Software development experience and programming in Python, .NET, JavaScript
- DevOps/ Agile/ Scrum delivery methodologies
