Now in its sixth year, the Rising Star Awards is an initiative run by WA Business News to recognise the top ten up-and-coming players who can prove consistent and strong growth.

NGIS based its winning submission on its market development, diversification and systems improvement. The rapid growth of the company's total number of employees, the expansion with new offices in Sydney and Hong Kong and the release of Geosamba V2.0 all helped prove that NGIS is a company adaptive to change.

The Rising Stars 2008 awards program was launched in February this year at the Verne Harnish Fast Growth Seminar.
