NGIS’s efforts with the public toilet mapping project have certainly caught the attention of the media, with radio interest ranging from Ernie Sigley’s show in Melbourne to the Up All Nite show on BBC International.

Work is continuing on this unique project, which is attracting national and international interest due to the usefulness of the data and the success of the project to date.

NGIS has liaised with every council and authority that manage toilets across the nation and the response has been overwhelming.  NGIS are now developing a map-based web site to distribute the data, as well as formulating a marketing plan for how to get the information out to the consumers.
