The technical sessions offered something for everyone with subjects including SDI, Remote Sensing, Coastal Zone Management, Environmental Planning, Health, Water Resources, Mining, Infrastructure and Web-GIS. 

NGIS contributed to the technical programme with Adam Hender presenting a paper on ‘Enhancing Business Processes through Web-based Mapping’ which was well received.

Despite the jam-packed schedule, and presentation halls to inspect, the NGIS crew still managed to get out and see the sights of the Northern City (Beijing).
