By liaising with the DMR, Paul Gibson , our Training Manager, was able to deliver training on the new ArcGIS V8.3 software, specific to the needs of Department staff.

In this case, DMR had requested NGIS provide additional training on ArcScan (training available as an ‘extension module’) and incorporate their own ‘data management’ model.

Customising training to DMR’s needs made it easier for participants to relate the information to their ‘real-life’ job. The training was very well received with feedback indicating the course was ‘just what they needed’.

Paul also found the training rewarding – arriving back in the office raving about the fantastic steak and selection of WA wines served at the Royal Hotel Orange!
