Senior representatives from all government departments attended the meeting at which the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) presented an update on its efforts to promote and improve Continuous Public Involvement (CPI) in project development within the territory.

NGIS developed the 3DEIA website for the EPD to demonstrate mechanisms for improved visualisation and interaction with models of proposed projects and their impacts. The 3DEIA will be a key tool in promoting CPI, as well as providing a simple and effective method for gathering public feedback.

NGIS have developed a number of interactive environmental visualisation tools to support EIA and environmental modeling activities.  NGIS are currently hosting the site for EPD at www.ngis.com.cn/epd/3deia/english/welcome.html
