NGIS and Google Cloud sponsor IMARC ESG Collaboration Theatre

NGIS and our partner Google Cloud are pleased to announce that we will sponsor the ESG Collaboration Theatre this year at the International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo (IMARC) in Sydney.

IMARC is Australia's largest mining event, uniting over 8,500 decision-makers, mining industry leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators, and educators from more than 110 countries. This year's IMARC is scheduled to take place at the ICC Sydney from October 31 to November 2.

The ESG Collaboration Theatre will delve into critical topics such as social value, environmental resilience, and people and culture, featuring diverse voices who will share their insights and case studies.

Our General Manager of North America, Bobby Pinter, will be at the Mining Innovation Theatre on the first day of the conference (Tuesday 31st October)  at 15:35 in the ‘Mine Rehabilitation and Repurpose’ session. He will focus on the influence of environmental reporting and compliance on various natural resource and commodity-based industries as a means of helping the mining industry prepare for similar regulations. Before joining NGIS, Bobby led Google Cloud’s sustainability innovation program, where he helped Google’s customers in leveraging cloud technologies to address their sustainability challenges.
