2008 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards – Innovation and Commercialisation

The online asset and threat-monitoring system, Indji Watch, was announced winner of the Innovation and Commercialisation category in the 2008 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards.

 

2007 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards – Industry & Entrepreneurship

Winner in the Industry and Entrepreneurship category for ioMaps, an innovative map viewing application developed by NGIS Australia for mining giant BHP Billiton Iron Ore.

NGIS was also highly commended in the western region's Spatial Excellence Award 'Industry & Entrepreneurship' category.

 

2006 Winner of the WA Industry and Export Awards

NGIS won the WA Industry and Export Awards for the development of ForMS (Forestry Management System), an innovative, far-reaching business management solution developed to meet the needs of Australia's largest agri-business operators, Great Southern Plantations.

 

2005 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards

NGIS won the Natural Resources category for the development of a computerised forestry management system, known as ForMS.

Also recognised in the awards was the Spatial Interopability Demonstration Project where NGIS' Oliver Looker was an integral team member.

The Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards are the premier awards for the spatial information industry, recognising excellence, innovation and service to the spatial industry.

 

2003 Australian Secrets of IT Innovation Award

In 2003, NGIS won the Australian Secrets of IT Innovation Award for innovative development of the GeoSamba suite of web-mapping products, showcased at the Australian and New Zealand Technology Showcase Conference.
