This short course is designed for those looking to expand their data capture and editing skills, to fully utilise the vast suite of ArcGIS editing tools to create features effectively and efficiently. The editing tools provided by ArcGIS blur the line between GIS and CAD by providing accurate digitising tools that will allow you to snap to existing features, create entities at a fixed distance or bearing from an existing feature, and perform advanced editing techniques which can not only streamline the data capture process, but also ensure that the shapes and attributes you are recording are accurate.
This one day course focuses on creating and editing data in ArcGIS, and will turn novice to intermediate ArcGIS users into professional GIS data editors.
