Amir has an in-depth knowledge of both optical and RADAR satellite sensors such as (JERS-1, RADARSAT, ASTER, ALOS, QUICKBIRD, IKONOS). He is skilled in the interpretation and processing of satellite imagery for the exploration, targeting, analysis and mapping of base metals.

B.Sc. (Hons). Presently completing his PhD in 'the use of Remote Sensing techniques in the analysis and interpretation of geology and geomorphology'.

Comments
Amir has been with NGIS for over 4 years working with a host of different projects ranging from mining and oil, through to agribusiness and environmental management. His work has taken him to places such as the deserts of inner Mongolia and the jungles of Cambodia. Amir is currently the manager for Remote Sensing services at NGIS and looks after NGIS' remote sensing training courses.
